I was sceptical given the cost and spent a lot of time reading reviews on Leo's Loo. I bought the updated Leo's Loo Too. We have 3 cats so litter cleaning is a chore. Not anymore, what an amazing device ! works as advertised and exceeded my expectations. There are a couple of negatives but thats the case with any litter box. The good: Leo Loo Too is super quiet , whisper quiet. If you overfill the litter then you lose a little clean litter on the first cleaning cycle, the instructions mention this. Took a few goes to get the hang of how much litter to put in so as to not lose clean litter on first cleaning cycle. Now the litter tray only has waste and no lost clean litter. You can set how many cleaning rotations leo's Loo Too does. I found 1 rotation sometimes missed some clumps. Changed the setting to 2 rotations per clean and now cleans all clumped waste perfectly. Waste tray on the update Leo's Loo Too is larger, would still love a bigger waste try, more on that shortly. Waste tray is super easy to clean, just pull out, lift out the bag, pull draw string and throw out. NO smell at all, not sure if thats a combination of the good litter we use or the UV sterilisation built into Leo's Loo Too. But no smell at all ! One little trick I found with pulling out the waste tray. litter tends to "pile" up in a mound within the waste tray, as you would expect. The first time I pulled out the tray and cleaned it, when I put the tray back in it would not close. What I found was that when I pulled the full waste tray out, I must have scraped off some of litter and it fell under the tray within the bottom of the device blocking the tray going back in. I had to put my hand in and clean out a couple of clumps that had fallen into the bottom (under) the tray area. Only had to do this one time now that I’m aware of the issue. My hint: when you go to pull out the tray, give it a shaken back and forth 1-2CM to "shake" the mound of waste litter flat, then pull out the draw. Had no issues at all now that I do that. You can program to turn OFF the front light, for example at night. I thought the cats would prefer that. However the downside is when you get up in the morning and if the lights OFF, you can not tell if there are any warnings like a red flashing light telling you the tray is full. The app does tell you that, but easier to walk past and see the red light etc and know the status and that’s it working. Size of the waste tray: The updated Leo Loo Too has a larger waste tray. So glad it does ! We have 3 cats and one cat we think has a kidney issue as it drinks heaps of water and goes to the loo "wee" way more than the other 2 cats. So our litter tray gets full fast ! Wiith 3 cats we are having to empty the waste tray daily. To be fair we had to clean our litter tray daily due to this so not a fault of Leo's Loo. I was hoping we would get 3 days out of the waste tray. Again, to be fair, if we had 3 normal cats at a normal use, I would think we would easily get 3 days out of it. But Leo's Loo Too makes it so easy to clean, way less mess than a normal litter tray, and zero smell. its worth every cent and I would highly recommend it. Being able to see on the app when each cat uses the litter tray and each cats weight is great. I wish you could name each cat on the app based on its weight. So glad we bought Leo's Loo Too
